Sarah Eisensmith, PhD
Founder
Licensed Clinical Social Worker
Dr. Eisensmith serves as a case consultant and report writer for attorneys and mental health professionals who conduct forensic evaluations. For more than a decade, she has worked as a clinical and forensic social worker as well as a parenting coordinator, supporting high-conflict families, couples, or individuals who frequently interact with family court and child welfare.
Dr. Eisensmith’s clinical work is complemented by experience as a researcher, educator, and program evaluator in community and university settings. She is drawn to report writing as it enables her to maintain a connection to the clinical work she loves while simultaneously leveraging the information collecting, reviewing, analyzing, and reporting skills she has cultivated as a researcher. A voracious reader, Sarah genuinely enjoys the extensive document and material review process forensic evaluations require. She sees it as a true privilege to help provide compassionate, clinically-informed guidance that both supports decision-making in court and child welfare proceedings and focuses on responsibility and healing, not blame, within individuals and family systems.
Dr. Eisensmith received her Ph.D. and MSW from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Social Work. She received her MEd. in Curriculum Instruction from Lesley University, and her BA in Sociology with a focus on children and families from Duke University.
